Hello All

If you have been locked out of your Hikvision device, an unlock code can be used to reset the admin password.

You can email Hikvision for this code for free, though there might be reasons why you might wish to purchase one from me:

- Hikvision do not respond
- Hikvision deny your request on regional or OEM support grounds
- You need the code now, not tomorrow or in a few days

I have provided codes to people sucessfully so if need you a code, please contact me.

Cheers CBX

Defeat the time limit on the unlock code, I'd buy one for just in case.
It's about ownership & gaining control of my hardware for me.

Well it's coded into the binary, so the binary would have to be hacked.

The whole idea of each day having a different secure code is to prevent hacking from others. A static code that didn't change and would let anyone with network access in wouldn't be recommended.

With Dahua, you can only use the break in code directly at the DVR/NVR. It will not work via the web.

There are a few ways into Hikvision devices with unlock codes, but as far as I know port 80 isn't one of them.

If someone was really in need, I could always just provide them the unlock codes for the next 5 years for their camera.

Please can you help me with a secure code

Its still not working where els may i get help
What do you mean its not working? Thats the only place - you must be doing something wrong. Or contract the person you bought it from. Hikvsion will not help you unless you purchased from an authorized retailer which im guessing is not the case.

That is the case, the code it gives me does not reset nor override my forgotten info but the link you gave me is labeled camera reset and not DVR reset

it works for NVR's..see post 3.
"Just tested on my NVR (for no good reason, other than seeing if it worked on NVRs as well as cameras)

In the serial number from SADP, take out the beginning part of the serial which is the model number"
Make sure you remove the model number..
