Hikvision web playback question

same issue here on my DS-7716NI-I4 / 16P, no red line to be seen anywhere.

Also, when I login to the interface under system settings & maintenance, I see my model number is "DS-7616NI-E2 / 8P" and my firmware version is "V3.4.80 build 160718"

However when I go to the hikvision site to search for updates, I only find older versions..

"DS-76xxNI-E1(E2)P_USA_Firmware_V3.4.21_160630"

Seems kind of weird...

The latest firmware for most newer NVR's seems to be V3.4.90 build 160926.

Yes, V3.4.90 and previous versions are on that site.

The red line can be a lot wider on motion detection.
Remember that you need to turn on the alarm display (the red lines) under the blue line - single window layout, start playback, click the swizzler next to the windows layout selector.

And does anyone have a clue what the 'Enable Eagle Eye Mode' thing is all about, next to it on the right?

alistairstevenson, maybe the Eagle Eye Mode is connected to this collaborative effort listed on the HikVision USA site. It also gets a mention in the latest version of iVMSS-5200 under E-Maps on page 44 of the manual here. If you find out, let us know please.....
