I don't know how I am missing this but we seem to need this "root" password as well for telnet on our ip camera, I've tried every guess I could think of. Any chance someone could let me know what it is?

Hello everyone, have multiple High Speed PTZ Dome cameras. Have managed to migrate them all from one network to another, apart from one.
Unable to connect to the culprit camera as not sure of the password. Would anyone be willing to share the root password? Thank you.

Hello I finally found uart pins and could reset root passwd...
But the pb is now that the rootfs supposed to be mounted mtd2 in yaffs2 seems to be destroyed - so kernel panic etc...
I had access to another one (same) but, too much newbie on this art, I don't even know how to create/extract and restore cleanly a yaffs2 image through u-boot.
The model is in fact a DM-SCB405IDP-V10-E.
Prog Version : V1.0.8 Build 201805142139-r3091D
Ctrl Version : MiniPtz_V2.1.1_Build201701092117
Web Page Version : 1.1.1 Build 20180514P

I'm not that confortable with those environnents, learned a lot about it the last 15 days but I probably make a mistake as silly as I can be sometime... Probably always shoud I say.
Any suggestion?

just some feedback, the SADP password recovery seemed to have hosed my config_net.ini file and erased out the user table somehow. Either that or another function I was trying. only way back was to telnet in and re-write the config file from one of my working units doing the same method.
