I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

I'm trying to use ui2 on a iPad and I've used Firefox, safari and chrome, they all show ui2 working but sound doesn't work on live cameras.

I have it working when using a PC (windows 10) or Android device.

Any help with a iPad?

Thanks

Is there a way to turn off the zoom when you scroll with the mouse?

Yes. It is the first option in the UI2 Settings > UI Behavior tab. "Digital Zoom".

UI2 can only stream wav audio, which isn't very well implemented in most browsers. I'm guessing it might not work on the iPad at all.

You might have better luck with UI3.

No manual, sorry. What you want is in the context menu which is accessed by long-press (left click and hold on a camera).
O Gosh Durn there was a Hawk on my front porch and I couldn't figure this out. It didn't trigger automatically because he was outside my zone window.
Been using this for quite a while and appreciate all the work you put into it.

Brian,

Thanks for your help on some of my cameras not showing up... The problem seemed to be in the camera properties. I had the "Hidden" box checked.

Now I have another problem.... I loose my mouse when the program opens... I can click around the screen and will hit and miss cameras, but I must "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to open task manager in order to close the app.

Any Ideas?

Thanks again,
John

Which program? UI2 does not hide the mouse pointer, so it is something else on your system.

BlueIris viewer..... The "Hidden Camera" setting is in the BlueIris camera properties....

The missing mouse is fixed... I deleted the config file and went back thru the setup...

All is working well now. Man! I can't believe how fast it is...

Thanks for a great app... Somewhere I saw a PayPal addy 4 contributions.... Any idea?

Is there a way to configure the videos to show up in a column first instead of a row? Reason I ask is that I have a monitor set up in portrait mode that I want to use for surveillance and for my cameras it would work much better if they were placed in a column first then a row. See attached image of my screen shot and what I'm getting in full screen.

You can configure a camera group with a frame size that more-closely matches your monitor. Just keep tweaking as necessary to eliminate black space (which wastes CPU time and bandwidth).

Oh wow I had no idea you could write in your own custom frame size! Thanks so much.

Hi,
Been using this for some time now and its great! After the last update however, the local format clip timestamps in UI2/misc does not work anymore. I only get AM and PM timestamps unfortunately, while we use the military timestamps here in Norway. Is there a fix for this?

The "Locale format clip timestamps" option from the Misc tab still works for me. What that option enabled, UI2 should be using the standard date and time format for your device's region (which may have been configured wrong?).

It's been working all along up until I upgraded. Did not work perfectly though. After a few logons it was back to AM/PM. But now, AM/PM only, no matter what. Nothing has been changed on my laptop, where the viewer is installed.

Is there a way to have motion detected cameras appear in web view only? eg. it changes grid and cameras depending on where there is motion

I think that means there isn't enough free space on your disk for Blue Iris to be able to use its full 360 GB allocation. You can get a slightly clearer picture of the situation if you look in Blue Iris's status panel on the Clip storage tab.

The local timestamp does not work at all for me for some reason. This ocured after the last update. Is there å fix for this??
