It is a Struggle to find just the right camera to work with software correctly. I did find the IMOU cameras to be the best of the "Budget" cameras out there, and believe me when I say that I have tried "A Lot". I have a box full of different Cameras.
The problems come from the Camera Sellers, using their own weird Firmware and using some form of Encryption so the Cameras output can only be read by their own Software so you will purchase their Cloud Services. Sell the cameras cheap and rake in that ongoing cloud money.
The last working firmware for the IMOU was V2.680.0000000.22.R, and this would allow you to use the stream from the camera on other software like iSpy for the PC.
It took some convincing to get IMOU to give up this firmware for the camera, but they did eventually. You just have to resist the temptation to update that constantly appears on your phone when you open the app.
