The UAP-AC-IW-US uses 802.3at PoE for its input. The 5 port PoE switch you listed only has 802.3af output. It doesn't appear like this would work. You would need a switch with 802.3at PoE.

The UAP-AC-IW-US looks like a cool concept (mounting in a 1-gang electric box). It's only a 2x2 MIMO radio due to its physical size restrictions. Don't expect to get full WiFi speeds (depends on what you need within your home).

Alright thanks for your comment.

I went in with Archer C60 routers that can be used as access points. PoE for the cameras when i will buy them will come from a wall adaptor with the proper norm. C60 seems to be a better bet than the in-wall APs for range and speed.

I will let you know of the end result when i get them.

Many, many thanks for your help so far. Once the network peripherals are in place i will move on to the second step of the plan which would be setting up the Hypervisor.

Hi, me again.

I'm sending back the C60 because they have FastEthernets and not Gigabit interfaces. Bummer. They also cannot do AP mode for guest network.

We're going for A6 instead.

Will let you know of the result. :)
