My Dahua IPC-HDW5442TM-ASE just arrived today. It's supposed to be an S3 version. How can I actually tell if it's an S3 version? it doesn't say on the sticker on the bottom of the cam, it only says on the sticker on the wire S3 next to 2.8mm and in tiny print on the box across from the p/n. When you log into the camera, where it shows the model number, it doesn't even say S3 like Andy's cams do.
The serial number of the cam matches the serial number in the software and on the box and the manufacture date is 2024-04.
I did a firmware update using the latest firmware on dahua's website and it made no difference in showing an S3 next to the model number.
Also noticed that the cam runs warm after about half hour. I checked the temperature with a thermal imager and it's around 45c in a room temperature environment. Is this normal?
