I think the axton stuff looks good but I believe b&h is wrong here, doesn't look to use normal A or B pairs for power...

That was the beam I chose for my application if I was to need it. They have several to choose from. See the post above with datasheet. There is a 10 degree angle that is shown as over 350 feet.I see now it says rated at 130ft, again knock some off for true effective range
Thanks a lot, what range is this?I have two 5241E-Z12E cams purchased a month apart. One is on firmware 6.R dated 8/1/2019 and does not have the Exposure comp and the other is running 10.R dated 11/18/2019 and does have it.

I intend to upgrade to the newer firmware that has the manual IR setting. Just have not had a chance to do it yet.
One is 70-130 feet and the other is 40-150 feet. Thanks a lot, what range is this?
Except for the known focus issues that that been known for years and Dahua refuses to fix. Or enable other features in firmware like disabling auto focus.90ft-120ft, the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E is the most powerful camera we have now for fixed camera, Though it's 2mp, but it's working very nice.
Oh wow. Sweet. What version and where do I get it lolSupposedly the newest firmware allows for manual focus which should fix that problem... FYI
