Just got Dahua container 2 weeks ago and brought these three new stocks back home and did a simple comprasion test last week.

The paramaters of these three cameras are attached above. Some model only can be found at Australian market.

Cameras are installed temportarily by cable tie fixed in front of my house. See below pictures. The pig face turret camera is HDW4631EMP-ASE, Which has already been installed before.

I trun off the IR funtion for all cameras and the image setting is all default value. It is worth noting that hdw4631 is 3.6mm lens and the rest of them are 2.8mm lens.

Recently very busy cause our new dahua warehouse and tainning center is going to open next month. More than 20 container coming in the last two weeks and see the difference for our warehouse.


Sorry that I do not have enough time to do a very comprehensive test for many new models. I will keep update the AI function test for these cameras and will upload the nigh time comparision video in the future.

Moreover, I got most of dahua products at my office, so I will do more tests if someone is interested in other dahua models. Thank you

A lot of folks here would appreciate comparisons of night time image / video captures of moving subjects.

Is the 2nd image mislabeled and is actually the 5442? It has the best image imho

Please post low light videos (no light would be better) with people walking by. Street light video is useless to compare cameras at night.

I have 5 of these and have installed 20 more and feel it’s the cam to beat for low light under say $500
