IPC-T2347G-LU Color-VU camera will not install on DS-7616NI-I2 NVR

The NVR was already at current firmware rev.
I upgraded the camera to the latest, but unfortunately, it still has the same behavior.

I just received a DS-2CD2347G1-LU from B&H.

It works fine.
Well, that's interesting. And good.

It seems the ipc-t2347g-lu cameras have issues with HIK NVRs
Is that what B&H are saying? Associating it with the OEM model labelling?
Odd that your other 4 worked OK, so something subtle is in play.
It sounds like a bug.

@EMPIRETECANDY - have you seen this thread?
Can you query Hikvision about it, see if they are aware?
Many thanks.

I talked with hikvision engineer, they ask for the S/N no. of the NVR and the camera.
what is the firmware build date on the camera ? I have the firmware 201911 12

Well, i received one a few days ago. I have it installed in my backyard now, but im not that "shocked"on the image quality. Ive been plaing with some settings, but cant get it to be that good. When my son and friends are in the garden surrounded by a small fire, i have a hard time even recognising their faces... Also, it wont run in explorer, only chrome. The image is very grainy... Like im looking at a vga image... :) Audi doesnt work either, gives an error in the live view mode.

Sounds like you are either looking at the substream, set the settings in the camera incorrectly or expecting the camera to get fine detail in ultra low lighting and at a distance.

I believe you are viewing the substream, not the main stream.
As confirmed by the '2' in the bottom left icon in Live View.
That's the default when you start Live View.
Switch to '1', main stream.

Also, it wont run in explorer
For IE11 - not Edge - you still need to install the webcomponents plugin.

ohhhhmy... What an idiot i am. Indeed i was looking at second stream. Still, main stream isnt that much better, but it is a bit sharper, still grainy though. i will tweak settings like above and report back. Thanks.

edit: digital noise reduction in expert mode is fabulous... Much better image.
Audio still doesnt work..

I thought the audio was not working on my camera, but realized that the volume was muted by default in the Live View and Playback. Now to figure out how to change the default...
