I've settled on the 2MP Dahua Starlights but I'm not sure about lenses...

Would this be adequate information for anyone to give me suggestions.
The interior cameras show max distances and the exterior distances show the max distance I'm worried about viewing.

My bad... I do plan on getting the varifocals but they still have a certain range. Is the base varifocal the one to go with?

I think a standard 4X 2.8-12mm will suffice for many of those 40' and under. The driveway and backside of the outbuilding you might want to step up the the IPC-HFW5231E-Z5 or IPC-HFW5231E-Z12

Prioritize close in high-detail facial recognition coverage first (doors, vehicles), then add overview cameras to get a wider longer picture with less detail.
