Does anyone here know or use LTS NVRs and Cameras?

We have a setup where whenever a camera cat6 is unplugged and plugged back in the NVR cant log back into the camera giving a "user name or password invald" error and the camera has to be reset by the factory.

This is a major pain, has anyone found a fix fir this?

LTS support says its an inherent problem with the cameras.

According to support, they say the fix each time is to call support, borrow a Windows laptop and install Teamviewer and IP Portal and connect it to the NVR and have LTS fix it remotely.

Potential security issue using a third party and all that.

Well that's a new one!
So I wonder what secret dialogue they have with the NVR for that unusable workaround.

That doesnt make any sense. LTS simply rebrands hikvision (and now a bit of dahua). This is not an issue in any of those brands. There are some people from LTS on the forum @LTS_Chris

I called them twice and they say that's the only way to fix this problem- to get a Windows laptop and install Team and IP Portal then connect the laptop to the DVR D16 and Wifi then call them and give them the team ID and have them reset the cameras.

Wish we knew this before we installed all the cameras. This is going to be a pain each time the camera cat6 cables are reconnected

Call back and speak with someone who knows what they are doing.
