Malibu Fires

You know Red Tape is a problem when the Democratic DEI Mayor complains about Red Tape ..

" .. we had 1200 units of housing that was ready to be occupied but was stuck in bureaucracy .. "

Seems like these CA press conferences how to prepare or how to seek assistance are a complete waste of [redacted] time.

People who already lost their homes are not sitting around watching TV to listen them babble on about what web site or street address to go to.

It is like your ISP telling you when the Internet is out to go to their website, LOL

So I can speak first hand about the bums in CA. While growing up my dad was a Fireman and Fire Inspector for San Francisco. He would tell me often when he would offer to bring a bum to a shelter or free meal they would pass. That right there speaks volume...

I've been around a lot of addicts and seen severe substance abuse and how it just fries the brain eventually.. At some point these people aren't normal anymore and are just worthless.

Also... I know first hand they offer a ton of free services for people with HIV or AIDS. Places to live and hand out free cell phones.

Hey Kalifornia, what's your carbon footprint look like now that you created a situation where tons upon tons of carbon emissions were released due to these fires? Could not find enough electric fire engines to put out the fires?

I'm sure he was greatly qualified and not just another DEI (we used to call it Affirmative Action) hire.

This just gets better and better...LOL!

LOS ANGELES – Mayor Karen Bass today announced the appointment of her Deputy Mayor of Public Safety and two appointments to the Board of Police Commissioners.

My number one job as Mayor is to keep Angelenos safe,” said Mayor Bass. “The only way to do that is to hold people who commit crimes accountable and to take real steps to prevent crime from happening in the first place. The appointments I’m making today represent a major step toward transparency, accountability and a comprehensive approach to public safety that includes a police department that protects the community and leaves community members feeling safe no matter where they are living in Los Angeles.”

Jay Leno's Garage - The Future of Firetrucks?

145 miles on a charge, so guessing this truck can't be sent to help others.

When asked why this truck, "the cab is quieter"... :banghead:

4 hour pumping time on a charge, don't know if good or bad...he did say less pressure to save on battery life.

When the fire truck runs low or has no power they have a diesel engine built in the truck to run a generator to charge the truck's batteries...

The more I watch, the more I am with the fireman, they wanted a handle for the throttle instead of a screen to touch. DUH, they most of the time have gloves on...made it half way through watching...

I am not a Fireman, can't speak for them, but this truck is reliant on the Electrical Grid, so here we are again, if no Power to charge these trucks, backup diesel generator???

I don't get it...

She was a potential candidate for Biden's VP pick.

Commiefornia, this is who you elected. You can correct your mistakes with a recall of Newsom and Bass.

Ya don't say...

Quite a list of characters

The only aid those trucks are capable of is for when a hibachi gets too hot at a tailgate party. I grew up in CA and left for the east coast in the late 70's with much regret. I returned 10 years later with the intention of moving back, which I never did. That was an eye opening experience to say the least. What a shame that what was once a shining star for the US is now a toxic dump.
