There is no FPS setting in BI...at least not anymore...
Well then, perhaps you can tell me what the "FPS" I have indicated by the red arrows refers to in this image? I always thought FPS stood for "frames per second"....

It does not adjust the fps...it auto adjusts itself as per an old release note.

Contact BI and ask them. BI can't create additional frames, only receive what it is sent by the camera. Just guessing, but it's probably a "legacy" setting from the original versions of the program that has never been removed for whatever reason.

So then why is that setting even there if it "auto" adjusts itself anyway?
Its a holdover from previous versions and setting higher than your cameras fps has been reported in the past to help some people with video corruption issues.
