Can you say that aloud that I and lots of other people are cognitive deficient because I happily bought and use hikcams?

I don't think you understand the difference between out of reach and broke.... maybe it's your English...

Huawei provide the chipsets (HISILICON) for Hikvision & Dahua.
And now Huawei enters in the compétition loop with very aggressive prices and a large range of cams, face to n°1&2.
So there is no best or bad cam ; you just got the quality you paid for.
Hik & Dahua are known worldwide as actors in the low range market : domestic.
