I assume you will be running blue iris. The size depends on the number of cameras, frame size and frame rate.
Depending on the lenght of time you want to store the video, you will need to add a 4tb-8tb purple drive.

I perfer a tower so I have multiple drive storage space. To me the price seems high .

HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF Core i7-6700 3.40GHz 16GB DDR4 128GB SSD Windows 10 Pro | eBay

Hi all,

How is the above in terms of value. I am looking to run 12-16 4MP cameras with BI. Thanks for the input
its priced too high for a 6700....350-400 is more reasonable. Reconsider 4mp unless using indoors in well lit conditions.
note that i5-8400 systems that are more powerful than the 6700 are available for about 500. Also consider the pc's capacity to hold 3.5 storage drive...that unit only has one 3.5 bay.

Thanks Fenderman. WHen you say reconsider 4mp do you mean I should move to 2mp instead b/c it's better in low light? Thanks again /
