New computer needed for Blue Iris

Looks legit based on the site itself and also based on google shopping reviews. I have bought from less reputable and still been ok....use credit card and pretty much nothing to worry about. Also, I have never had problems activating licenses - use the phone system to activate if that is still an option.

Yeah, I have been seeing good reviews too. I'm gonna call the phone number Monday when they are open

Any place that sells Windows keys is a ripoff, pure and simple.

Windows is a monopoly, so Microsoft maintains fixed prices that seldom ever change. The cheapest you'll probably find a truly legitimate Win10 Pro deal is probably around $139.00 or so for OEM. If you want full retail, Amazon has had a USB media version on clearance for months now for ~$154.00, which is actually a very good price for a full retail version that can be moved from computer to computer.

If you are going to buy a key, you might as well just buy one for $5 off eBay via Paypal. If it works at the initial install, it'll work for a while (until Microsoft gets around to blacklisting it), at which time you will be forced to either buy another key or to invest in a legitimate OS. That same company selling the $64 keys is probably selling them for $5 on eBay, too.

I only go to Microcenter if I need it now, 2hr round trip. And I always buy more neat new stuff when I'm there. :(
They have some great deals..but its a 25 minuet trip each way for me, im spoiled by amazon..so like you, I only go when I must..

Is it true that if I get win 7 going I can upgrade to 10 no problem by admitting to using windows magnifier?

I haven't tried it but the official Microsoft Windows 10 free upgrade accessibility site is still up indicating it is available.

I've got an old HP that I salvaged from a person who didn't want it - (using it for my kids). I launched the upgrade and it installed the standard Win 10 downloader...it's going to take awhile but I'm confident it will work.

All is good.. Slammed an old win7 pro 64 bit key in and I'm totally up to date on 10 pro 64bit. Now to add more cameras on this beast!
