I have the GPU version loaded so far face detections is about the same. Object detection might be a little better.Has anyone given this a try yet to see if it offers any improvements?
No, normally I have it disabled. I turned it on just to see if there was an improvement. You have been successful with faces and BI?
I did uninstall it first.@MikeLud1 Did you uninstall first or just overwrite for the install?
Because its a brand new file with no history. There is no virus. Upload it to virustotal and see for yourself. The download was blocked by Microsoft as a virus.
After the uninstall I deleted the DeepStack folder. Thanks, Mike. That's what I was planning but thought maybe an overwrite would work. The DS uninstall doesn't appear to be really "clean".
I am using Norton Antivirus and I had to tell it the file was ok to install. The windows cpu download was blocked by Microsoft as a virus.
Does DeepStack install everything to the C:\DeepStack folder? I would like to be able to just rename that folder to 'DeepStack old version' or something and do a fresh install into a new DeepStack folder that way I could easily revert if I wanted to
I upgraded over the previous version and have not had any issues.Did you uninstall first or just overwrite for the install?
Is that as simple as executing the installer EXE (DeepStack-Installer-CPU-2021.09.1.exe) and letting it do its thing as though it was a new install?I upgraded over the previous version and have not had any issues.
