New Firmware for IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000013.0.R.191202.zip

Thanks, yes, I agree that there was likely something serious to have triggered such a rapid re-release, and not knowing what sure sucks. I did go ahead and update one camera to V14 earlier and did not notice anything different at all. Sigh, probably best to apply it to my other 3 cameras based on nothing but "huh, I wonder what they fixed that was so important".
Yup, and presumably if it's security related, they want to keep quiet about the details so as to not encourage people to take advantage of it....that's my thinking at least.

Buttons seem to come back with Internet Explorer, but as you can see in the attached images, using the web UI with IE is even less usable...

Yes. I record IVS/tripwire motion on a memory card in the camera. I also have a Dahua NVR that also records 24/7 but I only use that when the short recordings on the SD-card is not enough.

Well, since the timeline is not visible anywhere but on the old Pale Moon browser; I don't know. But it works fine there.
is there any solution? i have the same problem

@EMPIRETECANDY Any insight on this slightly newer version V2.800.0000014.0.R.191203 for the 5x3x cameras? Seems like it must be important if they released another version dated one day later....the original 1202 release was listed as an important security fix, so for them to issue another so quickly after there must be some reason behind it.
Did you ever get a response to this? @EMPIRETECANDY What are people installing -- v13 or v14? I'm on v5

DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000013.0.R.191202 this firmware based on V2.800.0000010.0.R.190807 , have some update for the safety issue.

Not sure about updating firmware on my IPC-HDW5231R-ZEs. When I login camera and do a manual check I get "It is the latest version." I have had a some issues with cameras going offline. Nothing major, sure do not want to brick my cameras.

Thoughts?

Thank You

M

That is fake, that button from my experience, not work at all for the old models. Just flash your camera's firmware with the one i posted.

So which file do I use?

...PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000013.0.R.191202.bin (Andy Dropbox)
...NP_Stream3_V2.800.0000014.0.R.191203.bin (wiki Dahua)

I only have ONE issue. I would like to record continuously on SD card. I have replaced the SD cards with 128GB Samsung Pro Endurance after SanDIsk Ultra failures, now no failures but all 9 cams IPC-HDW5231R-ZE still haphazardly recording. No error logs. After reading this thread a few times not sure it is worth the chance of updating from 2.622.0000000.23.R, Build Date: 2018-03-30 if it does not fix this ONE issue.

You can try my FW and check if can work, if not then try dahua wiki .

Hi Andy. Great response time :-). Have you heard of a record issue like this. I set to manual record and it is hit and miss. I plan to try on one cam. I bought a couple extras from you just in case they brick.

I noticed that the IPC-HDW5231R-Z/ZE is listed, but not the IPC-HDW5231RP-Z, so thought I would check to be sure it is safe to apply? Here are the part number details from my cameras:
IPC-HDW5231RP-Z (P/N: 1.0.01.04.18696 S2)
IPC-HDW5231R-Z/ZE (P/N: 1.0.01.04.18696 S3)

Thank you.

Mark

The old model R-Z can make a try. We test it working fine, not sure if the earliest version can suit or not.

Andy, I bought four IPC-HDW5231RN-Z (P/N 1.0.01.04.18696) a few years ago. They are not on the list. They have never had the firmware updated.
Can the firmware be updated with the version listed in the first post?

Can make a try, if the IPC-HDW5231R-Z not very early, then still can work well.

There has an urgent update for this model, please go to update it asap.

Update - After communicating with Andy (EMPIRETECANDY) I upgraded all my cameras to version V2.800.0000015.0.R Build Date 2020-0403. No issues with cameras or on either NVR, NVR5216-4KS2 or my ONVIF NVR. I am not using any alarms, email notifications, trip wires etc... so hopefully all those features will also work for others.

It's not an official releasing one, so better not to update it till we full testing on it.
Still test on It
