Good evening! I have been looking for a good route to take for adding some cameras to my home. I am the only house on a dead end road surrounded by lots of land.
I already tried a kit and decided I want little more quality. I stared out with a Defender 8 Channel system which I promptly returned. I believe I have found the cameras I want to use but I wanted to check with some professionals before I have to do this a third time. I like the Hikvision DS 2CD2732 F IS and DS-2CD2032F-I. It gets pretty cold where I live, So I a little worried about that.I will probably start with four cameras two of the dome and two of the bullet since they have a pan and tilt option. Are these legitimate?

Now this is an IP camera and I have no existing cameras. I was going to buy a Hybrid DVR/NVR, but I am hoping someone can tell me if this is worth it or if I should just go with a straight NVR to save a few bucks. The only other camera
Type I may add assuming the Hikvision are as good as they seem to be is a Camera I can get a good long distance picture with.
And that brings me to my next question.... what is a decent NVR with at least 1 TB storage and 8 channels that I don't have to wait for a month for it to arrive from China . I'd like to be able to remotely view and add other brand cameras and hopefully spend sub $400
Thank you!
Eric
