So this is how mine is setup. I have to hit Refresh at times to get it to connect. Once connected you can hit the gear for settings under Operation, there you will see everything you can change....

Thanks for the Support David. But after spending some time trying to get it up and running, something is definitely wrong with the device. It is a bit unfortunate, because even though it was not the perfect device - it was good. I had it connected to openHAB via ONVIF, and it supported snapshots, streaming. Now I have to find a suitable replacement...

But that one doesn't have a PIR sensor, does it?
PIR alone is pretty useless. with the the DB1, it has to be set to the smallest zone unless you want traffic all the way out in in the street. It's not the best sensor. I belive the DB1c has human detection.

I made use of it with my RCA. There is a trigger in the EZVIZ IFTTT channel for when there is motion detected. A snapshot is also automatically recorded in the app whenever motion is detected. PIR sensors are usually better than analyzing video, plus I don't want to only detect humans. How else would I have figured out it was that a-hole woodpecker that wrecked my doorbell? I just purchased the EZVIZ from Amazon.

Cool! I had already glued the pieces together to show the doorbell video on my Google displays when someone presses the doorbell using my HA software HomeSeer, IP cam software iSpy (like Blue Iris), and this wonderful little device which doesn't appear to be available anymore:

Nexia Z-Wave Doorbell Sensor, DB100Z - - Amazon.com

Is there a place I can learn about the features gained when enabling Google Home integration? Like, is 2-way audio available on displays or speakers? Do doorbell press alerts go through Google Home or is the EZVIZ app still required for that?

Sorry I don't have a Google Display setup, hopefully someone here will Chime in. I don't remember anyone here saying they had 2-way with Google, only display.

It's pretty pointless. You can ask google home to display the video. There is no two-talk or even alerts.

What firmware are you using?

If firmware is ONVIF capable you have to enable it with the Hikvision Batch Configuration.

Once you have enabled ONVIF then the about JPG should work fine.

I believe he is talking about the Tab on the main screen:

Also he is asking for the build number not the version. Latest Hikvision firmware is: 200321
You can find this info in your App or in Batch Config. Tool.

What Doorbell camera model are you using? What is the hardware and firmware version that you have installed?

The firmware has to have the ability to do ONVIF and I enabled that with the Batch Configuration program. Off the shelf some firmware is documented already to include ONVIF.

IE: Here have a Nelly DB with Hikvision firmware installed on it as noted in my sig.

You have to use the older build of Batch Configuration to make this work. Noticed that the newer version did not work.

I am using Batch Configuration V3.0.26 from 2019. Will post it on my MS Drive with a link to it.
