Hi guys, have 2 Hikvision cameras, 1y.o. and 2.5y.o., models are diff, both lost night vision in 2 weeks one after another, reboot did not help, they are both running original-old firmware(eng. vers), any suggestion to return the night vision? PS: cameras work fine in day light. thanks

Hi Oleg,

Have you confirmed the settings on the cameras are correct?
Have you tested if the light sensor is working?

what happens when you manually set it to night?
Hmmm, if I remember there is a checkbox where you can enable/disable it, right? it was always enabled, so dunno. If you tell me what should/not happen I will check it, plz?

the check box is for the IR...you can see for yourself if the IR is on.
there is a night mode vs day or auto

Yes, something like that, ok let me double check these settings and I come back in few hours, sorry, still in the office and they are home cameras :)

The IR LEDs should have a red glow just bright enough to your eyes that you can see them if it is dark outside. If the LEDs are on but the camera can't see anything, then the IR filters are probably stuck and I'm not sure there's anything you can do about that. It is also possible for IR LEDs to burn out partially or completely.

Yes I think I dont see the red glow anymore on cameras, before the red glow was defiantly on in the dark.

So ok I found the problem same for both cameras, I was able to fix one camera but not another. The problem appears in Configuration > Image > Day/Night Switch, the setting is "Day", I can set the new settings but not enable to save it as "Save" button is not there. With my webskills I debugged and see the button actually in the form(here) but it is disabled and hidden. I compared the setting with my another camera with exact model(which works fine) and could not find any different. Any idea? thanks
