Can you link to a small sample for checking?I can hear the audio on playback but when I download the file from the hikvision browser interface and play it over VLC it has audio
This is the file name "sample video.mp4"What's the filename and extension?
I'd have thought IPCamTalk would be OK with that. This is the file name "sample video.mp4"
Yap here's the zip file. it should be few kbsI'd have thought IPCamTalk would be OK with that.
If it's not huge, just a few MB, you could zip it up and attach.
That sample plays audio OK (sounds like maybe an A/C unit) on players other than the VLC 3.0.16 on this Linux PC.Yap here's the zip file. it should be few kbs

hmm.. I'm using a mac and I have VLC 3.18.That sample plays audio OK (sounds like maybe an A/C unit) on players other than the VLC 3.0.16 on this Linux PC.
VLC doesn't seem to be able to decode the audio stream.
Do you have any other video players to try?
Does the Mac have a native one built in, for example?
