Sound works in the following situations

Blue iris when cameras are tiled for the live view, I click one and white box appears around it, audio till play from that camera

Blue iris mobile app - playbacks from alerts and live video

But when I open a .bvr file to play back a previous recording I get no sound. Any ideas why or what settings I should even post for this

I did recently make the following changes to improve the audio quality - Camera settings - video - configure - changed Format to 16 bit PCM.
also logged into each camera via explorer and chagned the audio settings from g.711a to ACC with 68000 frequency, I

Improve audio quality? You do realise that most cams will have a cheap ass mic in them.

What happens if you reset it to what it was set before? Has it only stopped recording audio after you tried to improve the quality?

blue iris.

I will say the tweaks I made did improve the quality quite a bit. I just noticed however when I log into my cameras directly via explorer it says at the bottom of the live video "it fails to support current audio config"

How is this the case when I do get audio thru blue iris live and blue iris video alert clips?

Same issue with the error on all my cameras after I upgraded them to DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000018.0.R.210707

"it fails to support current audio config"

Ever find out what that error is all about in Live view?

One - why were you upgrading?

Two - did you factory reset and then update?

Three - did you try the find/inspect option in BI?

1 really old versions missing key features like no plugins required.
2. Probably not, too many customizations to quickly do that on 27 cameras. Yes I know it’s best practice.
3 doesn’t seem to affect BI for me, just more of a “what is this error breaking?” curiosity
