You could add a video card if needed, but it might have that displayport option that looks like a weird HDMI lol.

Most of us run it headless so then you can place it anywhere and then Remote Desktop into the computer and then it doesn't matter.

So when you run BI you are always watching from a laptop not a TV monitor?

Yep or I mirror it to a TV if I want it bigger. But I do not have a monitor connected to the BI computer.

When I first got BI, I set it all up hooked to a monitor, but now when I add a new camera or change settings, I do it all thru Remote Desktop.

That is much better.

Pick up some addition RAM to put in it.

Still do the fresh install of Win10 as this version would still have all the HP bloatware on it.

Many people think resetting the computer takes all that off. It doesn't.

It only takes 15 minutes, I would go ahead and do a fresh install anyway.

I had the VGA HDMI problem on my original BI computer. I add a cheap video card (>$30) .
If you have a number of cameras and plan on using deepstack for people, car recondition then look at the card that support Deepstack.
Just make sure you have the correct slot and card height for the new card.
