I enabled FTP in my Lorex NVR but it is not uploading anything to the FTP I set up using my Asus router. What is the issue?

Probably something in your (unspecified) settings.
Or my crystal ball isn't working.

What's the error when clicking the Test button?
Suggestion to try to narrow down the cause :
- Use the Asus admin account / password in the NVR, see if the test button works.
- Simplify or change the destination path, try further up the folder tree if it allows it.
- Test guest access by allowing anonymous login.
- Test and confirm access from the PC by using ftp://192.168.1.1 in your browser.

The test button said "FTP Test OK" and I am able to access ftp://192.168.1.1 in my browser. I have tried both admin account and anonymous login but both are not successful, the NVR and still not uploading to the FTP server.

Perhaps then it is the motion or event configuration settings in the NVR that is not triggering any FTP access.

Not familiar with that model - but I don't think you can send video using FTP - it's going to be event snapshots.
Hi, Have you resolved your issue? I meet the exactly the same questions as you did. I wonder how to solve it? I set up my FTP successfully and it tested OK. But just nothing is recorded to store on my FTP!! Help!!! Thanks!
