IVS is worlds better than MD with SMD filter unless you’re in a clean controlled environment (say inside a bldg)

Let’s see you IVS setting for a tripwire on the camera GUI. Triggering an alarm on IVS activation is a setting. It can be easily turned off.

What model camera exactly?
What model NVR exactly ?
