Last week, I went to a grocery store and was greeted with a temperature check and a pair of gloves. Once I was given the all clear, I was allowed to walk into the store and buy the essentials. Unfortunately, this routine is not mandated throughout the country. I do applaud the manager of this grocery chain.
I don't think they were giving out masks. Though, I did see every customer wearing a mask.
It takes a long time to get anything done in some countries due to politics,

+1 one the video...never saw it before. I applaud legislators who are stalling non-sense over spending my either party. And, I'm especially horrified by legislators that tack on non-sense redistribution of wealth programs or excessive spending on non-citizen projects where there is no ROI.

Dr Fauci, who appears to me to be among the most pragmatic of the talking heads in the US, just said he expects Millions of cases in the US with a ballpark estimate of 100,000 - 200,000 deaths here.

Maybe they should order the 4-for-1 ventilator splitter than allows you to use one ventilator to handle up to four patients. It's 3-D printable and the design is out there for free.
I'm in New York @Sybertiger , Florida state governor did the right thing preventing the spread of the virus from North to South

Well, I gotta go now...after watching that video and seeing all the bats, rats and snakes in the wet market I suddenly got hungry and am going to find something to eat....I think saw something slithering in the backyard near the creek...catch up to y'all after lunch.
Ventilator are in the news and many think that just having more will fix the problems. The reality is that when a patient gets to the stage where they need to actually use a ventilator, only 50% survive with the best medical care and those that survive usually have serious long term damage/reduced quality of life. We need to work this problem earlier so that people don’t get to the point of needing to go on a ventilator.

Our first lot N95 masks just passed US customs, thanks to them!
The donation masks 2000pcs also will be delivered on Monday via DHL. I don't have time to update the tracking No. those are normal surgical masks, Huawei donate 50000pcs to US, i donate 2000pcs i think not too bad

DHL has been slow. My camera was hung up in Hong Kong for several days. Just now updated to having departed. DHL still shows to be delivered on March 25th. Baha!

Government was warned years prior about a unfolding pandemic. This is reminiscent of 9/11. Wow. Feels like these days we’re more innovative in piling excuses than actually making new things. Then when it comes to making new things we send the design schematics overseas to allow so-called cheap labor to complement our appetite for manufacturing more material things.

FYI - this is not well known.. there have been numerous close calls on the financial system freezing up and this would cause the Credit Card companies to lock up. ( i.e. no funds being passed around ).
Thus, while Cash can be a virus carrier - CC and financial institutes are not immune during this time to failures. ( thankfully, your future tax dollars are going to keep the highly leveraged financial institutions solvent... )
