Pandemic threat? Anyone else concerned?

Ivermectin... Horse Paste they tell ya!

I like him. You would think his name is Dr. Ivermectin if you search his name. They call him a quack, dangerous, all the shit you expect from the woke mob. And all he does is sit there and read the data, the facts.

Vaccines, Masks, Staying At Home Did Not Make A Major Difference In COVID Case Rates, NYT Says

The New York Times said vaccinations, booster shots and masks have not caused a major difference in case rates between parts of the country with different levels of COVID-19 precautions in a Wednesday morning newsletter.

The article compared COVID-19 case rates for Democratic and Republican areas, noting that Democrats were more likely to wear masks, get vaccinated and boosted, avoid public spaces and shut down in-person schools over virus fears.

“These factors seem as if they should have caused large differences in case rates. They have not. And that they haven’t offers some clarity about the relative effectiveness of different Covid interventions,” David Leonhardt wrote in the NYT newsletter.

Restaurants in America’s most liberal cities are still seating customers at only 40% of pre-pandemic levels, while restaurants in cities like Miami, Austin, Texas, Nashville, Tennessee, and Charlotte, North Carolina, have fully recovered, according to the NYT.

“Nationwide, the number of official Covid cases has recently been somewhat higher in heavily Democratic areas than Republican areas,” the NYT newsletter read. “There is a strong argument for continuing to remove other restrictions, and returning to normal life.”

Unlike other precautions, vaccination rates were closely related to death rates, and areas that voted for former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election saw approximately double the COVID-19 death rate than areas that voted for President Joe Biden, according to the NYT.

“If a new variant emerges, and hospitals are again at risk of being overwhelmed, then reinstating Covid restrictions may make sense again, despite their modest effects. But that’s not where the country is today,” the newsletter concluded.

Trying to think like a liberal....

  • He's a racist!
  • But darn, we've said it's impossible for non-whites to be racist.
  • Let's say he's a black identifying as a white.
  • Or maybe a white in black's clothing?
  • Calling somebody a racist always works, need to figure out how to pin it on him.

Unequivocally proves you are not a leftist. You forgot “conspiracy theories”

Massachusetts Reports ‘Significant Overcount' of COVID Deaths

When state public health officials publish Monday's report about the latest COVID-19 impacts on Massachusetts, the cumulative death toll through two years of the pandemic will suddenly stand about 15% lower.

The Baker administration will start using a new public health surveillance definition next week, narrowing the window of time between a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis and death required for the fatality to get attributed to the highly infectious virus.

Saying the Bay State's earlier methodology led to a "significant overcount of deaths," officials said Thursday they will adopt a new system recommended by the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists.

And in a step that could reshape understanding of the pandemic's impact on Massachusetts, the administration will apply the new method retroactively, resulting in 4,081 deaths once linked to the virus being recategorized as stemming from other causes and roughly 400 others newly being labeled as COVID-19 deaths.

For the duration of the pandemic, state officials have deemed a fatality COVID-related if it met at least one of three criteria: if a case investigation determined the virus "caused" or "contributed" to the death, if the death certificate listed COVID-19 or an "equivalent term" as the cause, or if state public health surveillance linked a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis to a Bay Stater's death.

The first two measures remain unchanged since the earliest days of the crisis, but the third has already been updated once and is set to evolve again on Monday.

From March 2020 to March 2021, DPH counted the death of any person who had previously tested positive for COVID-19 as a COVID-related death, regardless of how much time elapsed between those two events.

I watched V for Vendetta tonight.

===Spoiler alert on this old movie===

It's about a virus that "escapes" from a government lab, which is then used as an excuse for government to establish totalitarian rules "for your protection", all while certain key people in government make millions off of the only "approved" solution to the virus-- a vaccine from which they profit.

This 14 year old video is pretty cool....
