Doesn't the heartworm treatment for animals have Ivermectin? I guess since your dog was getting a small dose and only once a month it wasn't significant?

Not sure but we gave her 6mg, one pill everyday for about a month...

So going to get personal here. Just want to share results since I stopped statins a little over 6 months ago along with stopping extra sugars, deserts, snacks, cookies, etc. Went to Doc last week got lab results. My A1C dropped from 7 a year ago to 6.5, that is good. LDL went up about 70 points but I am ok with that...I am actually happy with these results. I am over weight, which I am working on, lost 10 pounds already. Working on a better diet and definitely exercising more living out here in the country. Family has a history of type 2 diabetes so last 10 years I have been on the Docs bad side , but never took metformin that they kept pushing...



Those extremely low LDLs and Total Cholesterol are from two studies I was on where they gave me a shot in the stomach...found out later those are actually dangerously low. Our brains need cholesterol, it is not bad like they would like for us to believe. Statins in elderly has been found to cause Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Dementia.

Since off, I feel better, no more muscle cramps, brain fog is clearing up. Stupid me, I was on these things for 20+ years...I have another appt. in a year, we will see where I am at then.
