So i couldn't just sit here an not check it until tomorrow.
Besides it got worse to the point where i could bring up the camera's web page but it would time out logging in and my NVR lost the link to the camera.

I found the culprit.

Notice the splits in places along the individual wires.
Most evident on the orange/white.

This was brand new cable (bought this morning) of a brand i have used several time before without drama, but won't be using again.

Well mine is not slow anymore since replacing the cable.
It does still sometimes take a minute to bring up the preview on certain pages like the image page but apart from that it's ok.

I removed that plug in too. It's kept asking me to give admin creds every time I restarted my laptop.
I've installed the annke vision app instead so I can easily view and download captures from the camera if I need to.
I mainly use the NVR for reviewing anyway.

I have found a few annoyances with this camera and I don't know if it's an annke thing or if hik is the same.
If I have the day night detection set to auto I lose the ability to set gain on the exposure settings which seems to have a detrimental effect on the night vision quality.
I can also only set a fixed exposure setting, not a range.
Not a huge deal as some of my other cameras are like that too but it's annoying nonetheless.
I don't like that line crossing detection only allows a single straight line, whereas my dahua cameras can use zig zags I find work better to cover a larger area such as a yard rather than say a door.

Anyone tell me how to use guardingvision and the app on my android?
In the advanced settings of the camera there is an option to enable it. When I enabled it, it needs a verification code and confirm verification code. Where I get it? Anyone has a tutorial for this?
Is Annke Vision and Guarding Vision the same?
