who said anything about time machine? Only rookies and those who don't know use time machine or even use it existance to prove a point.

His point was that your notion that its easier to use or more reliable is baseless. Seems to me that the rookie is the one who has constant problems with his windows machines and determines that the only way to solve it is switch to a very limited locked down alternative designed for the technically challenged. User error.

My Optiplex 9020 is up and running! I will try the USB drive with W10 ISO on my other PCs at a later date, for now, I am thrilled my Blue Iris PC is up and running. Now to attach the POE switch, plug in the cameras and see what happens.
