Im running a 30w injector to a dome camera which works fine until the ir kicks on then the 30watts is not enough power.. would turning ir power down affect the cameras power consumption? Is there a more powerful injector i could use?
Thanks

I know the camera isnt poe but i have a splitter from sunba they specifically made for this camera.

So cranking the ir down did not help the power issue..

I guess i need to know can i get an injector that safely supplies more power.. and if not...

Can i run romex 12-2 uf along with cat6 thru conduit without too much interference?
Thanks everyone

Not positive of the draw. Right now im jist testing with short 3 ft patch cat5.. will cat6 make a difference?

I have this on the way.. i know ur not a fan of sunba but as of now im pretty happy with the auto tracking model.. Do you think this splitter will make a difference?

That is not poe+...
The problem with crap cameras is their reliability...furthermore auto tracking (as it is implemented in these cheap cameras) is simply ineffective in the real world..its a gimmick.

Can you recommend me a splitter off amazon?

As far as the auto tracking, it does fine for me on my property..

until you have two objects it tries to track or a fast moving target, now you will miss the relevant important footage...hope you have a few fixed cameras that can actually be useful...
You need a splitter that supports 802.3at

My situation there is never more than one vehicle and works quiet well for my setup.. i guess i have the ideal spot

Will this work?

Don't be cheap on the items that are going to be powering the camera that's just asking for trouble
