It amazes me that there are people, especially so-called men, who believe they have no right to self-defense. We've just got to allow ourselves to be robbed, beaten, raped, and killed.

Speaking of "used to be young", it used to be only the crazy women that lived alone with a hoard of cats. We're going to have a lot more "cat ladies" because our culture values postponing marriage or avoiding it altogether, and then women wake up one day when they are 35 and childless realizing that their middle-management career isn't as fulfilling as creating the future of humanity. So, they get cats and eat ice cream, waiting to die.
