Progressive Liberal Hypocrisy

I am VERY curious on how this will end. Of course, I want Parents to be in charge. Any bets?

This.

Our kids go to a very conservative Private school, our oldest wants to get into the medical field, and is a honor roll student. She will graduate next year from that school.

Our youngest……. Hates every second of school, is struggling to pass. He has zero interest in school and wants to get into welding or electrical.

My wife and I are starting to have conversations on starting to homeschool him when he turns 16 and can get a job. That is getting more and more popular in our area. Once a kid is 16 and is able to find a job in a field he’s interested in they homeschool their child.

These kids if they have a work ethic have 2 years of experience under their belts over any other kid their age once they graduate from school and decide to get into the trades.

The trades are a great place to make a living and be your own boss after a while. I agree with Mike Rowe about the country needing folks that work in the trades. His group provides scholarships for those wanting to go to trade schools.

I have quite a few Hispanic friends who don't like those that illegally cross the border.

And she has 100's of millions, so she is not affected by housing shortages, job competition, etc.

Cultural Revolution, where Mao, working to keep his power and clean out his opponents, activated the youth to clear out their teachers .. made me think of the parallels to wokeness and cancel culture ..
