Ptz 20x imporx no lan anymore

Hi,

For checking Ip or Mac adress on router, even done it, without success. I've got a lot of devices, but sure that cam is not detected on any adress. Ip scan range is done too, on default Ip range, and previous IP static adress.

Can somebody tell me if the motherboard of the black module give the IP adress, firmware inside ? Just remove the 2 little connector (green,yellow,bleu,white) and boot the cam.

To see if firmware is alive, i suppose no. While maybe, i must search where is the problem on the motherboard cam, or bought a new black module KS20IC3 :-(

Maybe cam only need a default restore, but like nothink allow to do it, idon't know, on board there is maybe a JTAG to inject a new firmware for bricked cam.

Any idea are welcome.

I test today to run the ptz cam with and without black cam module connected.

Connected, Router lan is on and blink, like a cam ok, but no ip present on sadp or router
no led on Ci cam module..

Black module deconnected, no led on router.

So, firmware come from black module.


For the problem with my ptz, yes it happened after a cut power, thunderstorm i think .. Not sure.

you've got this problem after a power cut ? And how do you fix it?
 
Here is some new picture of the imporx Huisun 20X cam.

CI board, tested most, CI cam seems to be dead, or firmware bricked..

Any idea where can i find a KS20Ic3 camera, or similar, not found similar on ali.

Have you tried connecting the RX input of a USB to TTL Serial convertor to the TP6 and TP7 pads to see if either of them is a serial console?
Or go round any of the other test points - it's just an input so won't do any damage.
You might be surprised and see a lot of activity when power is applied to the camera.
I did this on a bricked Huisun Mini PTZ V2 - nothing on the LAN, but link light on, and managed to bring it back to life.
Linux was booting - then falling over. Amboot was available, which allowed some recovery actions.

Not yet, for that, do i need an RS 485 usb cable ? or modify an usb cable ? if you have a picture of the cable it's welcome ! After that i will test.
Like it seems neer my problem, lan link switch on and blink orange (100 mb)
For now, i don't have the led on CI board of the cam, all other led blink (IR CI, Motor CI)
 
Ok, going to have a look from my Raspberry's accessories, maybe i've got something. Other i will buy one on the net.
expect cms light off from module cam is caused by a firmware crash and not a hardware problem.
i will test again tomorrow all card linked themselves outside the dome to see if i detect something anormal, with TP check on test point.

i receive my usb TTL, so i can begin test, any suggest to begin test ?

Other, for my lens black module, Jack propose to sell me a new one for 180 $ without ship, expensive..
 
My suggestion to try, on the board with the microSD fitting:

"Take your USB to TTL serial convertor, attach the GND wire to any of the big corner holes that the mounting screws go in - or the metal plate they connect to if the board is still assembled.
Wrap the RX wire around a short needle and start up PuTTY or your favourite serial terminal program, with likely settings 115,200 baud rate, 8 bits no parity, no flow control.
With the camera powered off, poke the needle gently on to one of the pads marked TP around the big SoC chip in the middle.
Power on the camera and watch for readable text scrolling up in the terminal. It will likely finish with a '#' prompt, it might be static, it might still keep scrolling.
If nothing, power off, move to the next pad and power on again.
When you've got the right one, you need to get another hand to keep the Return key pressed on the keyboard.
Wrap the TX wire around another needle and whilst keeping the original needle in place, probe the pads marked TP and look for the one that generates new lines on the terminal screen. The return key will be sending data if it's kept pressed.
When you've found them - the hard task is then to fix the wires in place so you can make use of the access.
But be careful - don't short things out."

You do need, of course, to find out what serial port the Serial TTL convertor is using.

For you the RX is on TP6 or TP7 ? or i must found it too ?

Have you solved your problem? I have a similar problem. I even sent the module to China. They repaired, returned back to me. But two months later the camera broke again with the same affect.
I believe this is a buggy module and it's easier to throw it out.
If you found a solution - please share it!

Hello Everybody,

I'm from the netherlands and i've got the same issue.
It happend after a firmware upgrade! does somebody has a solution already.
Any help is appreciated
 
I have 3 Yunch PTZ 2MP X20 Zoom auto tracking cameras
All 3 have failed within 6 months, all cameras power on, move to self test, show a lan light on a switch, but no SADP connection, no IP found cannot ping static IP
Jack wants me to send all 3 camera inserts to china at my cost so he can look at them, or I can buy new ones, no help what so ever, camera has identical parts to one shown above.
Stay away from yunch,imporx they all work for a few months then quit with no help from manufacture

one camera will power on once rebooted, function for 2 days then loose network

I will upload pictures
Hopefully we an find a fix to help everyone who has lost money
