Batteries lasted 45-90 days depending on time of year and number of pics sent. Quick and dirty solution, put it up 8'+ and tie it to a tree with a Master Python cable lock.
I used one for 2 years until moved to an AT&T home phone and internet box which shares the data plan with my Iphones, had a couple canary cameras connected to them. You just have to keep an I on the data usage.
I did see where the Canary flex will soon have a Verizon option.
