well, you have to pop off the 'eyball' retainer, open the eyeball (two small screws,) pry off the glue the used to fix the lenses, then unscrew and screw in the new one, adjust, re-glue and re-assemble. but pretty much like any other cam using these M12 lenses, yeah...

@EMPIRETECANDY Any updates on the firmware? Along those same lines, does firmware pulled from the Dahua site work on the camera's we are getting from you, or do we need to get our firmware from you?

For me, the new firmware did allow the plugin to work on IE, so that's good, or maybe co-incidental.
the backlight settings are still not available for the channel 2 camera feed, however...
 
I could not install. Threw an error that I posted on the upgrade thread.

Hi Guys - I bought one of these cameras and hooked it up to my Dahua NVR, it recognized one camera with 1 ip address so I added it my Registration on the NVR.

1)It only displays 1 video on my NVR since it's on one Channel, how can I display the other camera on another channel?

2) Also, when I login on my Laptop and connect directly to my camera I only see 1 live view of the same camera I see on the NVR, how do I see both? Also when I go to the settings tab, nothing comes up. I've tried in IE/Palemoon/EasyViewer Chrome Extension and nothing works (What's weird is that I'm able to view my other 6 cameras settings just fine just not this camera)

I was able to figure out and get both cameras to display on my Dahua NVR NVR5216 but still not on my live preview or settings through the GUI. Here are my instructions for others in the future.

1. Since the Dahua NVR5216 have EPOE/POE ports and auto assigns IP I plugged it in to see what IP address the camera was assigned
2. I logged into the NVR on my laptop and removed the camera that was automatically created in Step1 and quickly manually added the camera. (If you do not remove it you will have two channels of the same camera1 and 1 channel of camera2)
a. Enter the IP address you got in Step 1
b. Enter the user name/password
c. Click Connect
d. Now you have the option to select '2' for 'Remote Channel No.' (you don't have that option when doing it on the NVR box directly)
e. Click Ok

Now the Cameras were created on two different channels with the same I.P.

"I do want to mention that this puppy runs HOT. I first set it up in the garage where my POE switch lives, and turned out the lights to check the IR. After about thirty minutes of it running the dark, I was surprised at how warm it was.

I would think one would want to mount this with 1/8" or 1/4" spacers to hold it off the mounting surface to allow a little air flow. Or with the junction box or wall mount. Otherwise At the least, if it matters to you, it will discolor the mounting spot over time.
This is what my cheapo Ir temp gauge read off the base of the cam. Room air temp was 78. "

Just got this camera from Andy (great Service) and wow is it hot to the touch. At what point would you think it's to hot. Is this really the standard running temp or is there something wrong? A bit nervous to keep it running at a temp in the 120's attached to my house. Spacers or not.

It seems to be standard with two cams in one housing. I'd definitely use a Dahua junction box at the least.

I was thinking to get one for indoor use mounted directly to drywall, since it has a low profile, but this is making me think twice.
