What orientation do you use? Only if the cams look down it’s kind of ok. As I want to mount it indoors, I ended up removing the domes. Much better, however not one of my best cams. I bought it to replace a couple of aging Foscam R2 and I might even decide to keep the old ones...

Seriously, clean the dome both sides.

I have uplighting which is causing a reflection off the dome...it's not the IR internal LED. That's what those circles are on the walkway.

Wondering if the pixelation is caused by deformities in the plastic dome, and if so was it caused by age? And 'wedge camera' refers to this Dahua model?

It is pretty much the same camera, just one camera, not double. Camera is brand new and it is under a fully covered patio. It's been installed, maybe for three months.

That Amazon delivery video I posted also includes shots from the wedge cam that's mounted near the doorbell. So far so good with the boobie and wedge cams.

Domes are notorious for having problems when the camera is mounted in a way where something close reflects IR back towards the camera. If you could post a day/night picture from your camera, that would make it easier to troubleshoot.
If its IR reflection from within the cam, turn it off at night to find out, make sure that you placed the dome on correctly and the rubber rings around the lens touches the inside of the dome.
Also, this is why it's always best to make a test rig and test locations before final install.

I’ll install it properly in the weekend and will post some screenshots. From my preliminary tests I don’t see the reflection without the domes.

Hey guys looking for some help here. I have this camera set up and running on my bench for testing. Problem is I only have 1 of the camera feeds showing.
Not sure how I get the other one to come up. In the NVR, I’ve been looking at the modify camera page but all I see is 1 channel and can’t switch to a channel 2.
Maybe it’s easy or maybe I’m doing something wrong but forgive me as I can’t read thru 600+ posts in this thread.

I'm thinking of using this as a replacement for my single dome cam at front door. Does anyone know if I can mount it vertically, in place of the existing cam, and adjust the lenses so that one is looking nearly straight down (package cam) and the other out towards the front of the house (probably about 70 degrees relative to package cam)? Thanks!
Any word on the new firmware from @EMPIRETECANDY for these? It seems Dahua released 2.622.0000000.32.R.190827 in March. Also curious about what changed.
