Does anyone know how to downgrade the Ezviz app on Android, as the latest update broke key functionality (it will no longer pop up the app over my lock screen on my Galaxy A54)

I don't know anything about these sites or how safe, I would research before you use the APK. Also I am guessing you will need to set your phone to allow other Apps other than from Google Play Store.

For anyone needing a Battery replacement:

My DB1C finally stopped working with Blue Iris (v5.6.2.3) yesterday. It dropped off the network. which is not unusual, but this time when I reconnected it there was no RTSP stream. I eventually did a reset of the doorbell (and removing it from the app), but when I try to follow the procedure to enable RTSP in the Ezviz app (Profile, Select LAN Live View, Scan, Settings..) the scan finds the camera but the app just hangs when I try to access the Settings screen to enable RTSP.
I'm using v6.4.5.0812 of the Ezviz app, and v5.3.0 device version 240617 of the DB1C.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas for recovering the RTSP stream?

Are you able to connect to it via Batch Config. Tool???

Yes - this is what I see under "modify network" - RTSP appears to be enabled, but BI is not connecting to it.

These are the BI settings that were working before:

I also can't stream from this URL in VLC:

rtsp:/admin:mypassword@192.168.1.94:554/h264_stream
Did a search here for RTSP, I remember some having a similar issue as you are going through:

Thanks for the pointers. I already had Ezviz Studio installed, so tried disabling and re-enabling UPnP. Sadly it didn't help.

UPnP is dangerous on a network, I would leave it disabled on your router.

My mainstream and substream appear to be the same quality in VLC. Any idea why?

They are configured differently in EZVIZ studio.

Any theories why this is happening or how i can fix it?

Well thanks for the old firmware links.
Today i upgraded a brand new DB1C to te latest firmware. I think it had a 2022 firmware on it and now the lastest (2024). The DB1C is added to my Hikvision NVR. Through Ezviz studio (Adanced) and IVM5200 client i can edit some parts of the camera. But i cannot activate motion detection. When selecting Motion detection i get "camera doesn't support this function". I can thick the box motion detection and hit save but i get a error: Not Associated With Own Channel.
It is possible to change streaming options etc. But with motion detection is fails. Does anybody know the solution to this?
is the latest firmware capable of working with a Hikvison NVR?
The reason why i upgraded the firmware is because when the IR light comes on during nighttime after a period off time the camera shuts off and doesnt respond anymore...I want a device with a continues stream and motion detection in the AVR, nothing more.
EDIT: when i turn off the IR light in de Ezviz app with firmware CS-DB1C-A1-1E2W2FR_V5.3.0+build+220802.dav then the DB1C operates just fine. But no IR light during the night makes the nightvision useless.

Have to ask, what size transformer do you have?

I have a "Ring" 24v transformator, why? Do you think that is the problem with losing connection? Unstable powersupply?

Keep in mind that my original question is about the latest firmware with a hikvison nvr ;-)

I can't help on the NVR question, I just jumped in about your DB issue when the IR comes on at night, many over the years had this issue to find that their transformer could not handle the extra load and upgraded to fix the issue. I changed out my 16v 10va with a 16v 30va. If changing the firmware caused this then the transformer wouldn't be the problem.

I know this video is directed towards the chime addition to the DB, but it explains va (load) and how an under powered transformer don't work well with these Video Doorbells...

I will try it. I have another DB1C with the original transformer running right now with an older firmware, IR light is on and active, still didn't crash. Hopefully is will work. Thanks!

Yeah, transformers can be rated at one voltage but put out different than their ratings, like the video showed the 16v 10va was pushing out 21v but dropped to 13v under load which is borderline for these DBs. I have read 12v can work if you have a high va
Check your va rating on the transformer(s) or better yet put a voltage meter on your DB, press the button or turn on the IR during your testing. Many of us bench tested these DBs before installing them...

Hi!

I am trying to connect a relay to a DB1 Pro to activate a mechanical doorbell that works at 12VAC since all doorbells in Argentina operate at that voltage.

I make the connections as shown in how to connect a mechanical doorbell, replacing it with a 24VAC relay (attached Connection 01.PNG)...
As soon as the circuit is energized, the relay is activated and the DB1 Pro does not because it only receives 4.6VAC... that is, it does not turn on the DB1 Pro as it does not have the necessary voltage of 16-24V.

On YouTube I saw the following video and they connect it in the same way as I connected previously:

I attached the circuit (Connection 02.PNG)

In the Ezviz app I set that I want to connect a mechanical doorbell.

The supply I use is 24VAC 50W, more than enough to power the DB1 Pro and the relay that consumes 85 mA only.

I took measurements and the following came up, the Power Kit that I have has a Resistance of 4 Ohm and a Capacitance of 88uF, could you tell me if those values are ok to see its correct operation? I am doubting that it is in good condition.

I measured the voltages on the doorbell terminals and it gave me 4.6V and 22V on the power kit cables... meaning that the power kit is energized as soon as voltage is applied to the circuit. Due to the low voltage, the DB1 Pro does not turn on. Just in case, I inserted the fuse in that circuit that I attached and it blew, from what I saw it is 3.15A, could you confirm that I can find a replacement for it?

Any ideas why it doesn´t work as intended?

Thanks!!!!
