Review-I'll be the guinea pig for the new SD59225U-HNI PTZ.

I see this is advertised as a waterproof mount, hence the included gasket.

The way I would do it I'll lift the gasket and put the cable out of the notch that's there and use a waterproof cheap junction box to the side of the mount.
That's the way I've done the huisun and it looks a good install.

That way should you ever need to get to the connections you don't need to remove the camera

Love this forum. Learning all the time.

I'm going to try and get it in the waterproof j-box. I've been planning for a couple weeks and got the full corner mount solution. Mounting is tentatively next Saturday. I'll take a bunch of pics.

I'm most likely doing a pole mount, or something I can do on top of a roof so that will be interesting protecting all of the wires, and I kinda feel like it's going to bake up there.

Can you not drill and run the cables inside the pole?
Should be able to actually, that's probably what I will do, I don't have a drill press though so I'm gonna have to see if home Depot or someone will drill the hole for me, or see if someone I know has one, trying to do it with a hand still would be like trying to eat peas with a butter knife I think

What about a dremel or similar and do a small square cut?

The Dahua-sd59225u-hni comes with instructions for the PFB 303 Bracket.

Sort of makes it look like it's a cost cutting exercise that does.

As that mount will be more expensive to produce that the one being supplied

This should remove all doubt.

In my best, "My Cousin Vinny" prosecutor voice......Identical!

Looks to be spot on and square.

This actually comes with the waterproof gasket. It's ribbed and twice as stout as the waterproof junction box gaskets. The PFA110, or at least the one included with the camera, doesn't come with a gasket.

You can tell the original is off by a little.

Andy, you're freaking awesome man, how do I send you some beer in China lol!

Damn, let me know what I need to do to get a free camera!

@Solar Deity - My table looks just like yours now (PFA120/corner mount). Are the bolts included with the corner mount for concrete? Wasn't entirely sure but they look that way. Those things are a lot beefier than one might expect...I was surprised.

Andy I know you have already shipped the cheaper round mount yesterday but I don't mind paying for the proper mount which suppose to come with the camera according to the manuals and leaflets that came inside the box.

PM me price I will forward the payment.
Put me down for 1 as well please
