Review-OEM IPC-T3241-ZAS 2mp AI Lite series Varifocal

Ok got it going now.....thanks everyone.
How did you get it to power on? I bought two cameras and they both wont turn on. My POE switch is fine. It runs other cameras and I've tried different ports.

Is this camera still a contender in the 2MP varifocal space? Or is there a better bang for the buck? Do they work well for LPR/LPC? I see they are discounted on Amazon right now. I have standardized on the 5442 but these may fill a niche.

Yes it is still a contender in the 2MP space and if you are within 30- 35 feet or so of the plates, you can certainly set this up for LPR. So like on a mailbox or close to the street.

The 3241T-ZAS is a great camera that is hard to beat, even at 2MP.

Are there any junction boxes or wall mounts for this cam?
I usually look for the pdf specs sheet which has the accessories models listed but I can't find anything for this IPC-T3241T-ZAS.

A new camera from the AI Lite series. Has better lux rating, and Smart Motion Detection, AKA, SMD. It is supposed to allow you just choose human or auto to filter out everything else. Unfortunate that it does not work.
I set it up for Automobile only, it picked me up walking, and anything else such as shadows, etc.
I set it up for Human only, same thing, picks up anything. Worked just like plain motion would work.

The cam does have AI IVS which does work properly. IE, set filter for automobile, and it doesn't see anything else that triggers motion.
The cam does well at night in color or b/w.
The video below shows me with just 7.5 watts of LED light in the lamp post to the left in color mode. To the right of the drive where I walk into the grass, it's dark enough I have to cautious due to low light.
See what you think.

Be sure to choose 1080p in youtube player.
Recorded and exported from Blue Iris.
All camera settings at factory default except for time and channel name.

Hey Looney2tns, what is the best FW for this camera that is stabile and fixed any ongoing issues with it? I am running this FW right now on mine.......
