Setting up new Blue Iris system

I bought the Optiplex with a solid state drive, the 4TB purple is going in the one 3.5" bay the system does have.
Using the WD surveillance storage capacity estimator, it shows for 14 days with ten 1080 dahuas at 10fps a requirement of 5.2TB with H.265 and 6.8TB with H.264. With a little tweaking of days/fps/#cameras, the 4TB may be okay. What do you think? Can I expect to use H.265, the Dahua specs say they support it? How full can I realistically expect to get a drive?
The only thing that matters is bitrate.... nothing else influences storage size

I understand what you are saying: bitrate x time = capacity. My question was more about what are reasonable frame rates and # of recorded days, i.e. are the values I picked to compute the storage estimates reasonable? Maybe I don't really need 10 fps etc.

Using Varible Bit rate, I am getting approx 22 days on a 4tb purple, 8 cams at 15fps, max bit rate 4096.
Going to Varible over constant increased my storage roughly 10 days.

10-15fps is good.

Thanks for the input. I didn't know variable bitrate was an option, I've got more studying to do.
