Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Hi folks, I recently picked up the Laview Doorbell camera as an inexpensive test to start setting up video cams on my house. It's installed, fully updated, and works with the Laview mobile application. However, I can't seem to configure it to share video with any NVR software. I've tried both of QNAP's surveillance station apps, and finally gave up and bought Blue Iris. Blue Iris detects the ONVIF camera, but I get an RTSP: 404 Not Found error on the Camera window. Any suggestions on how I can get this doorbell camera working with any of these NVRs? Thank you!

Use the Generic ONVIF profile in the Video tab when setting up the camera.

Just installed the RCA HSDB1. Working fine on the RCA app for android. But when I try to get it to configure thru Blue Iris (using FIND/INSPECT) it seems to go thru OK but I dont get a picture. I get RTSP error? Am I not doing this correcty?

Just got the LTS version of the this camera and installed it. Everything went pretty smooth and I am getting motion detected notifications and receiving calls when the button is pressed. I also added it to zoneminder which is working fine as well. I was also able to share the camera with my wife and she now receives all motion notifications and can interact with the camera. The only thing she doesn't get is the call when someone presses the button. I read (although pretty fast) through the thread and didn't see anyone that has this working (just someone with similar issue as me).

Any ideas or am I out of luck here?

I am getting the same issue. My android app rings however the IOS Hik-Connect App doesn't ring. A notification might show up but no ring.

Ahh nice to see they brought this deal back, they aren't perfect, but the best of the low-end units I tried.
Newegg is where I got my LaView units.
When LaView wasn't able to provide good assistance, I contacted Newegg.
They were willing to allow me to return them, luckily I found better instructions online.

I'm having issues with button press notification. Everything else seems to be working well. I have read the first 32 pages of this thread and plan to read the remainder...
I purchased my LTS before I knew this thread existed, opened it up and removed the ir brackets before I installed it. I learned long ago that ir causes problems and sufficient lighting negates the need for such aggravations...
I changed my server port and do off-site 24/7 recording on my Hikvision NVR... It would be nice to have VCA but on board 128gb card captures all the events...

I set my dad's LTS up and signed his and his wife's phone into the LTSConnect using the same login/password as opposed to setting up a separate account. I never checked to see if both received the button press...

Speaking of SD cards...
I tried to use Sandisk 64 gb MicroSDXC UHS-1cards, I couldn't get one of the units to work. I realized the unit that did work, only had the supplied 16gb card. I put the 16gb card in the non-working unit and it began working.
Yes I formatted them in the units themselves.
Any ideas?
TIA

Generally, avoid SanDisk memory cards. Their quality has been spectacularly unreliable.

Do you have a recommendation ??

Interesting, I've used Sandisk almost exclusively and never had a problem.
I'll grab another brand and try it.
In the beginning, I would definitely use Sandisk for any solid-state memory device. Over the last year, I've seen more and more people report problems with them, specifically in video cameras. There are a LOT of counterfeits out there, as well.

I agree abt counterfeits, but I got these from brick & mortar store.

I've always got real cards online. The answer is choose your retailer carefully and bear in mind even genuine names can unintentionally buy fakes if they get into the supply line.

I'm pretty sure, Sandisk have a checking facility on their website where you can enter the cards serial number and it tells you if it's real or fake.

This morning I am not receiving button press 8-(
I tried HikConnect, LTSConnect, and RCA Connect apps...
My unit is LTS with the latest firmware from Nelly's...
I deleted the unit from each of the apps and re-added to each app as I tried each one...
I power cycled my phone and tried each app again. I did not power cycle the doorbell but probably should have...
Viewing and motion works perfectly but no button press...
Anyone else having this issue ??
