Teaser Info and Mini Review - Empiretech B52IR-X3 Triple Lens Camera

The latest version of spacer for the PFB203 has restored my ability to run full, upward mechanical tilt, and then adjust down to desired FOV with the tilt motor. I have a couple small tweaks I want to make to the model (nothing major) and then I will add the file to the original post.

Now I just need to figure out the best way to use the IVS rules and triggers. It makes it difficult when you're to treat it as 3 cams, but only 1 is sending the ONVIF triggers to BI. Currently I have the near cam trigger the group with all 3 cams in it, which may not be the best option? I may need to finally update BI and work on using the various IVS rules to trigger specific cams, which I think is more of a possibility now.

Currently, I get 2 seconds of triggered video on the wide angle, and then it will re-trigger several times until the tripwire in the far view is triggered.

How would I know if I can manually adjust the focus? I want to change the focus of Distant View. It's too far out, and I would like to bring it closer.

@EMPIRETECANDY Do you know if I can open the camera and change focus?

are you sure this is related to focus ?
i was able to test the cam today a bit, crazy cold and snow.
on my first testing, the gain and exposure compensate works somehow bit different than on 5442.
all details wash out really fast at night, need to dial in much more settings than normal.

i try to mount the 5442ze and 5442as in a row tomorrow when the snow isnt too heavy.

It is 2MP... in the full size image with my admitted bad eyes, the background looks like a 2MP camera as does the subject

Would the focus have anything to do with the amount of time it's going to be in camera view? Longer time within camera range perhaps better captures?

I still think I'll grab one of these come spring time for my garage/driveway/mailbox view.

The lens i think can't do manual adjustment.
Each lens can be in auto, it tries to focus on the area it sees action

What if the person was standing still at 65 feet - it is more in focus then - it might just be some motion blur to deal with?

Think wittaj is correct here.
It seems that the sensor tends to noise more like the 5442, the 3D NR tries too hard to remove it causing some strange motion blurr. Its not really motion blurr
Even at 3ms shutter i see some double sight on moving subject.

Not sure what setting is causing this, reduce shutter nor gain helps.
Even with external floodlight its visible.
Think its 3D NR, but need to test bit more tomorrow.

The sharpness on still image is good.

p.s. its 264, cbr
