Living in SE Fla, Miam-Dade, WPB, area he’s not likely to meet one of the handful of conservatives that live there. ;)
That area is where we send all of the liberals from NYC and Philadelphia so we can keep ‘em all corralled in one place ;)

The hilarious thing is that Orwell is a Democratic Socialist. They hate him because 1984 shows the Democratic Socialist endgame; not conservatism. Conservatism, by definition, means things as they are. You don't go from things how they are, to 1984 without some seriously bad ideas becoming mainstream.

I'm by no means and Alex Jones fan, but is this whole thing not a blatant 1st Amendment conflict? I mean if I want to say and believe that aliens kidnapped the folks at say the Las Vegas shooting, can I be sued and lose a judgement for a Billion $?? WTF?

I don't think it was arbitrary that the 1st amendment came first. It's the most important, inalienable, self-evident (God-given) right. As Jordan Peterson says, the right to free speech isn't because it's important to say nasty things about others, but because that is how thinking works. The right to speak is the right to think. The unfortunate thing is that nasty things will be said in the process of thinking, but that's the necessary cost of thinking. If we're not thinking, we're mindless drones with no special calling, no special contribution, and no possible way of contributing anything beyond any other disposable drone.

Authoritarians tell individuals they cling to individuality at their peril, but individuals tell authoritarians they cling to conformity at theirs.

The term "Islamophobia" literally means "Fear" (phobia) of "Islamic" (Islamo) poeple......and why not? Do you hear of any other race or religion asking for and advocating the slaughter or genocide of ANY OTHER race, religion or group of people?

The answer is "NO." ! :angry: :mad:
