I was walking with my girlfriend, now wife, looking back at her talking, we were leaving the backyard of her dad's house, my first time there, through a gate he put up to take a walk out to a field/trail behind his house. I turned around and BAM, I ran into a 2x4 across the top of his gate. What is the heck was this head level board doing there? Girlfriend laughed, I laughed so I married her, lol
Back in the early 80's I was walking at lunch with a co-worker. It was spring in New Orleans and downtown had lots of cute girls out from the office buildings getting lunch. As we were walking along Barrone Street, my friend was distracted by a couple of these cuties walking across the street. So fixated on the 'target' that he walked straight into a no parking sign. We had to go to a convenience store on Canal Street and get him a Band-Aid for the cut on his forehead.

Accidents .. always the woman's fault
1) Women is driving, caused the accident -> Her fault
2) Man is driving, but wife / girlfriend is "back seat driver" -> Her fault
3) Man is driving, but wife / girlfriend argued with him before he got into the car ( or is on the cell phone with her .. this is new to the story ) -> Her fault
4) Man is distracted by good looking woman. -> Her fault
Speaking of back seat drivers, my wife and our daughter are the worse, they even tell me what parking spot to park in. Well this year for Christmas I bought something they may like, or not, LOL:

I may have a new bruise on my head this Christmas...

Guess I am a bit of a Jokester, our grandson just completed Basic Training at Ft. Sills, OK back in Oct., he is hoping to become a Ranger. Since LEGOS was a big thing for him in his youth and he is coming home for Christmas, I had to get him this, LOL:
He is even a ginger so the LEGO figure beard matches, lol, if he can't take this back to the Base then we have an 8 year old grandson that can add this to his collection...

It is hard for me to wrap my head around all of this online ordering/buying. Apparently there are several people who order vehicles online, never climbing into one or test driving it. Clothes, our daughter orders clothes online, what she don't like she sends back.
Buying a house, when we had our house for sale a couple of months ago, we were told that people from another state would possibly purchase our house online and never step in it or look at it first.
Guess I am just old and want to touch things before I buy them. Probably why I never got a mail order bride, LOL
I am coming around though, remember my first auto parts order online, a tire, Amazon guy rolled it up on our porch, got home from work to a surprise seeing a tire on our porch, haha But hey, saved $50 that way.
Black Friday Sales, kinda miss all the pushing/shoving/fights, LOL, at midnight, I am the old guy in line with all the youth at Best Buy...haha, what I found out the youth can out run me to the items in the back of the store...

Black Friday Sales, kinda miss all the pushing/shoving/fights, LOL, at midnight, I am the old guy in line with all the youth at Best Buy...haha, what I found out the youth can out run me to the items in the back of the store...

Geez, he almost went the wrong way (backward instead of forward) but managed somehow... but just barely. He might want to consider dropping by the casino later and trying his luck there too!
