They just tried to assassinate Trump

No, thats really the excuse. Listen to her here:

Excerpt:

On July 13, 2024, during the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, Cheatle was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where the 2024 Republican National Convention was to be held. In the wake of the shooting, Cheatle acknowledged the failure of the Secret Service, calling it "unacceptable". However, Cheatle told ABC News that she would not resign from her position.

And this should provide an honest and objective conclusion:

Annnnnddddd...

BREAKING:
On Tuesday, the Secret Service had agreed to brief the House Oversight Committee.
Now, Homeland Security has stepped in, superseded all communications with the Oversight Committee and has refused to confirm a briefing will occur.

Why would you put a SS team INSIDE the building, and leave the roof open?

That would put Wonder boy directly above, and the same exact distance, in the same line from Trump as the fire team...

I agree that's a possibility, but also have a related suspicion. I've read that the shooter's rifle did not have a scope. If true, and at the >100 yards distance, is it easy to hit a target the size of a human head? In my limited experience, I think that it's a difficult shot.

According to a prior post on here of an analysis done by a former army snipper he had a red dot which is better than plain iron sights.

So, that's what boosted protection looks like. A 20 year old who had to borrow a rifle dragged it and a ladder (he bought earlier in the morning at Home Depot) across a field and set up shop on top of a building that was full of police snippers. Without professional training (couldn't make the cut on the high school rifle team) or a support assassination team he casually pulls up in his mom's minivan and 26 mins after he is spotted by police he's shooting at Trump? Thank goodness for boosted protection....LMAO. You know sometimes it's better to just be quiet than to say something like you boosted his protection weeks ago due to the threat of a foreign government. The SS is looking stupider and stupider the more I read. Boosted my ass.

Did we not already establish that there was meant to be a local swat team on the roof but they went inside the building instead?

I just read a report that said the snipers were in the building assigned to be looking out 3 different windows. One of them saw the shooter looking at the roof with a rangefinder, and took a picture of him. He later saw the shooter return with a backpack and reported this to the command center. If this turns out to be true it's hard not to think that they purposely gave the shooter access to the roof, and raises the question if he had been recruited/drugged/brainwashed into doing the job.

Thank goodness they were safe inside a building looking out windows and they were armed with cameras to take pics. Maybe they needed better cell service in that metal building so the text of his pic could go out faster. This is getting more and more comical as the days go by. I wish I was a fly on the wall inside that building. Would have loved to see the expression on their faces as the report from that AR echoed inside their little building.

Too bad Benny Hill isn't still around so he could do a spoof on this.

I bet that metal roof reverberated that shot and made them all shit.

It's my understanding that the dumbass director determined that the roof slope was too steep (even those it has less slope than where the SS sniper was stationed) for the safety of her agents so she told them instead to secure it from the inside.

Excerpt:
“That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point, and so, you know, there’s a safety factor that we considered. We didn’t want to put someone on a sloped roof, so the decision was made to secure the building from the inside.”

I don't think the dumbass director had anything to do with the security set up. That would be delegated to the proper group to handle. She is just coming up with a stupid excuse (not a reason) for the failure as talking points to the public.

Not disagreeing with that, but she is supposed to be in charge, responsible, yada yada and all that other crap that goes with being a DEI/AA hire with a big salary up at the top.

I say if it was a man that did this, they'd cut his balls off in a heart beat....and rightly so, IMO. But the Dems probably will put her in for some sort of award or medal.

I think she was in the dark. She's a DEI hire put there for show. The people who set this up were higher up the foodchain. Interesting she finally capitulated and said she'd meet with congressional committee to go over things next Monday and within an hour her boss came out and said "Nope, she wont be available to talk to you"
