MORE INFO REGARDING SETUP:
1. tinyCam Monitor PRO app runs on Amazon Fire TV 1st Gen ($90).
2. No monitor connected to Fire TV device. Tried to use Fire TV 2nd Gen, but it switches off automatically after some time if no HDMI source connected.
3. Fire TV connected to the router via Ethernet.
4. Fire TV CPU usage is about 20-25%. Device temperature is very low.
5. Two H.264 cameras are enabled in the app. For both cameras "In-app motion detection" and "Record on motion to local storage" enabled in Camera Setting in the app.
6. For each camera recordings allocated 1.5GB. Old recordings are deleted automatically if space limit reached.
7. "Auto start web server on boot" and "Auto start background mode on boot" enabled in App Settings. Needed to autostart this DVR if device rebooted for some reason.
8. Setup is very stable. Runs for weeks without any reboot.
Some users have reported using this 50$ device as Android DVR with tinyCam
