Trouble getting a stable RTSP stream from Duo Floodlight

Hi, I'm new to IPCT and Blue Iris. I am trying the demo of Blue Iris before I commit to purchasing it. I'm enjoying the software so far, but when I connect my Reolink Duo Floodlight, the stream seems to be stuttering. I'm not sure how to fix this and it's probably my fault. Any help is appreciated.

P.S. please only reply if you do know what's going on, and move along if you have nothing helpful to say.

Well, I have what very well could be the solution, as I have 2 rock-steady Reolink doorbells working with Blue Iris for 18 months now but decided to "move along".

Where did the URL you have come from?
Did you enter the cam's IP, username, password and click on "Find/Inspect" ?
Have you tried that same RTSP URL with VLC to see how well it plays in it?

4K over Wi-Fi can be problematic. heck, evern 1080 p can be.
If no joy, try lower resolution like 1080p (2MP) @ 10FPS and 5GHz Wi-Fi. if it improves, raise resolution to perhaps 2688 x 1520 pixel (4MP) and see.

I got the URL from the Reolink support page about setting up RTSP.
I did enter the IP, username, password and clicked on the "Find/Inspect"
Unfortunately the same thing happens on VLC, so I believe it might be the camera's fault.
I'm going to try and downgrade the firmware to see if that helps

Okay, I downgraded my Duo Floodlight PoE to v3.0.0.1889_23031702 and my Reolink Doorbell WiFi to v3.0.0.3308_2407315182, but I'm still experiencing the same issue on both devices.

Hmmm. I wonder if the doorbell and floodlight use the same URLs for RTSP?

This is one of my doorbells, showing main and sub streams:

Is your camera going thru the router?

In other words, if you physically unplug the router, can your BI computer see the video or do you lose the video?

If so, that is likely the problem.

Yes, it plugs into a switch, then router, and onto my computer with Blue Iris. I'm going to change my connections and report back.

The router doesn't seem to be causing the issue, I plugged the camera and my computer onto the same switch without the router and the issue is still present on the main stream.

After playing around with Blue Iris for awhile, I was able to get a rock-solid stream my Reolink Doorbell and managed to get a better RTSP steam from my Duo Floodlight. I will be purchasing a license for Blue Iris soon.

For the benefit of others that may have similar issues as you did with the Reolink Duo and Blue Iris, what did you come up with?

In my case, I got rid of the sub stream and turn off ONVIF. Here's my config.
